Multi-faceted artist and rising star Mac Wetha returns with the latest taster from his upcoming EP, Cloud Paint”. Undeniably feel-good and affirming, the new single delves into the singular importance of mindset when dealing with life’s many mishaps; a pop-punk hued celebration highlighting the importance of staying present in an ever-shifting world. Feel Better (Infinite Pitbulls)” arrives with a warm, sepia-tinged music video in which we join Mac on a carefree coastal jaunt.

In Mac’s own words: “Feel Better (Infinite Pitbulls) is essentially about accepting the inevitabilities life throws at you and embracing them as a part of the journey. This tune is me trying to bring myself into the present and remind myself that life is constantly happening around me and it’s important to take it all in instead of worrying and letting it pass me by.

The visual accompaniment is directed by frequent collaborator Dani Monteiro, charmingly lo-fi and shot with just one camera, the music video puts Mac at centre stage, effortlessly recounting lyrics and roaming the lambent British coast.

“Feel Better” follows the release of  “Dani Song”, the incendiary first look from the ‘Cloud Paint’ EP. Genre-melding and free spirited, Mac’s first track of 2022 is forward-facing and irrefutably energetic.

Last year saw the release of breakneck singleIDONTBELIEVEIT’, an upbeat danceable track that explored the excitement and uncertainty of falling for someone, alongside the debut EP Make It Thru”, which explored Mac’s identity as an artist. His first EP featured candid, honest songs that flowed between his wide ranging influences and displayed a previously unseen side to his music.

Mac Wetha is the resident producer of the widely admired London-based NiNE8 Collective, producing tracks for crew members including Biig Piig and Lava LaRue, alongside the occasional juggernaut like Aminé. He’s also toured with the labelmate BEABADOOBEE and the likes of Deb Never.
