I had so much emotion inside me and I needed so badly to release it. it’s sort of an apology and closure in the form of a song. As soon as I got to the studio I started writing because it was all so fresh within me and Toby Scott just nailed the production instantly and encapsulated the song perfectly

She also penned a personal essay entitled Stay In Your Power, where she discusses the power of music as therapy.
