London-based, Australian-born artist Samsara has released her new EP Swordfight on 4 September 2026, marking a new chapter for the 22-year-old artist as she continues to carve out her own corner of electronic pop.

Raised in Hong Kong, Samsara blends emotional songwriting with maximalist electronic production and theatrical visuals. Across Swordfight, she explores identity, sexuality, transformation, vulnerability, and power for both the dancefloor and introspection.

The focus track, ‘Stab ’n Smile’, anchors this approach, pairing euphoric, propulsive electro-pop with lyrics about her changing body and identity, delivered through a commanding vocal performance.

Unlike Samsara’s usual fast-paced writing process, ‘Stab ’n Smile’ took over a year to write. Its personal subject matter inspired deeper reflection, helping her confront body uncertainty and find strength in transformation.

Beyond music, she became the first transgender musician to tour UK schools in 2025, delivering performances and talks on identity, coming out, anti-bullying, and mental health alongside her King’s College London studies.
