I’MMORTAL, the New York and London-based producer, vocalist, and visual artist pushing dance pop forward, puts out her new single ‘Floor Siren’ today on her own IMMORTALITY imprint. She first turned heads back in August 2023 with the tech-house-leaning ‘Versace Spaceship’, then followed up with a steady run of tracks that have pulled in over half a million Spotify streams combined. Those releases earned nods from spots like DJ Mag Spain, YourEDM, CLASH Magazine, NOTION, KALTBLUT Magazine, EARMILK, METAL Magazine, and Wonderland Magazine. Her standout ‘KILLED U IN A DREAM’ picked up remixes from biskuwi and Droid Bishop, and the glitch-heavy ‘Uncanny Valley’ got a darksynth flip from Das Mörtal that aired on NPR Music.
Coming up in California, I’MMORTAL spent years on violin in orchestras, building the compositional foundation she uses in production today. Theater roles in high school pulled her into singing, and even with a soft spot for classical, she gravitates toward EDM’s raw bass drops and processed synth layers. Her audio-visual synesthesia ties her beats to striking imagery, often digging into death and rebirth cycles, clashes between organic and synthetic worlds, femininity, and AAPI roots. Pulling from figures like Sevdaliza, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Björk, and SOPHIE, her output lines up with the sharper edge of dance-pop acts such as Cobrah, Coucou Chloe, and Shygirl.
On ‘Floor Siren’, I’MMORTAL ramps up the pace after a string of slower, unsettling glitch tracks, locking into a firm four-on-the-floor groove at high BPM with restless acid lines cutting through. Her vocals stay low and inviting, repeating chants that build into a direct push for sensual confidence and release on the floor. The shift brings out brighter pop structuring, especially in a loose, high-spirited second verse, while leaning harder into acid textures she’ll carry forward.
Paired with the single is a video directed by Kaiuna O, the movement-focused artist who frames I’MMORTAL blending pole routines and floorwork against raw club backdrops laced with grit. The result pulls from her established darker, distorted aesthetic but opens up space for a clearer take on feminine strength.

I’MMORTAL shared: “‘Floor Siren’ is named after the first floorwork dancing class I took that got me addicted to dancing. It’s a fun clubby pop song that I hope makes listeners want to dance like the fiercest supernatural siren in the club! I found a new love for acid sounds that will be carried over into my next tracks. I also really had to put on my pop diva hat to write a super up-beat and untamed second verse. I hope I can carry this energy into my future tracks.”
