On their latest single ‘Diamond In The Rough,‘ out October 17 via Z3 Records, ZOCO trades bombast for balance. Frontman Marco Zocco weaves themes of authenticity and self-discovery into a lush alt-rock framework that leans cinematic without sacrificing structure.
Written with brothers Paolo and Matteo, and fleshed out with contributions from bassist Guy Erez, drummer London Hudson, and backing vocals from the Nelson brothers, the track feels like a tightly edited film—all heart, no waste. Production by Gunnar Nelson (with Kerry Brown and Carmine Rojas) ensures polish without overproduction.
The accompanying video, shot in Milan, ties the sonic narrative to real-world geography, a hallmark of the LUMANISTA project. With the EP’s release set for January 2026, ‘Diamond In The Rough‘ shows ZOCO moving with precision toward a debut that’s as emotional as it is architectural.
