Drawing inspiration from the dreamy soundscapes of Tame Impala, Empire of the Sun and Mura Masa, warner case infuses ‘Rise’ with a heightened tempo, rich textures and an inescapable hypnotic groove.
Originally written as a heartfelt tribute to friendships that have ended and been rekindled, ‘Rise’ takes on a new vibrant dimension with the remix. Sharing more about the remix, warner case said; “Making this remix brought me back to late 2000s blog haus, indie sleaze, and all the raw brilliance of that era. Dance music was grassroots and hungry, and a college kid with a blog could shape public opinion. It was a nascent, exciting time, and hopefully my remix does it justice.”
